Bomb Driver

What is a 'Provincial Reconstruction Team' anyway? Why do we still have troops in Afghanistan? We may very well have lost three more young men to a suicidal maniac driving a car full of ammunition. Ofcourse he was blown to pieces Mr Wahidi! He was driving a bomb! I guess some terrorists, rebels, or whatever they are calling themselves these days are applauding Qari Mohammad Yusuf and the Taliban for carrying out such a stupid and ridiculously non-sensical act against not only Canadian troops but Afghanistan's own people as well.

Not only will violence continue around the world whether we are there or not, but newer and more efficient ways to carry out that violence appears more and more.

Funny how we don't hear much about Afghanistan now that the liberation is over. I guess people need to move on to bigger and better things... Unless ofcourse there is blood involved... I am sure every major Canadian news channel will have this story tonight. I wonder if the politicians running for office have forgotten about our men and women in Afghanistan?

As for the American news channels covering the bomb driver? I suppose that depends on how many people died in Iraq today.
