Where We Stand
I can't believe how flippin' crappy I feel! Stupid whatever it was that made me sick! Perhaps Aspartame can kill me...
I watched Anderson Cooper on Oprah today. I have to say that I think he is one of the most amazing guys around today. Oh, by the way, they are highlighted so you can go directly to their websites. Anderson's is his blog which I LOVE! He just seems so down to Earth and normal! He even called a girl Meagan knew one time 'cause her roommate emailed him. WHO ELSE DOES THAT?! Anyway, the real point of my constant babbling is that I have spent a lot of time lately thinking about people who have accomplished much more than myself around this age. Everyone from Meagan, who has a MASTERS in archaeology (regardless of current employment status!), Kevin, who has been to many places around the globe I may never see, and Andria, who will be married and living in jolly old England by the end of the summer to Martin Luther King Jr who helped begin the civil rights movement at 26 and newcomer to my list, Mr Anderson Cooper. At age 23 he wound up filming himself with a little hand-held camera in Somalia while being shot at by snipers. Why did he do this you may ask? Because he is fearless! Twenty-three years old and he is in the middle of a war zone! What a guy!
I had my hoorah send off from Curves tonight. Not many people showed, but it is a Tuesday night afterall. I am glad it was quick though, because I honestly thought I was going to faint. The pain in my stomach is unbelievable! I really am going to miss some of those girls though! Cindy just got her hair all cut off and looks so cute! I didn't tell her she looked cute I just told her it suited her nicely. Meagan never like being called cute... then she said she had come to terms with it so I wonder where she stands now...
